Cheater’s Gingerbread House February 19, 2012

We usually do this over Thanksgiving break weekend. This is a fun way to get rid of all that leftover Halloween candy.

You will need:

  • Clean milk cartons
  • Tape
  • Frosting
  • Left-over Halloween candy
  • Graham crackers
  • Small plate

Directions:

  1. Wash and rinse milk cartons, place upside down in a dish strainer to dry.
  2. When cartons are dry, tape them shut at the top.
  3. Place carton on a small plate.
  4. Frost ‘em up. Place frosting all over the carton.
  5. Lay graham cracker sections on top of the frosted areas.
  6. Embellish with discarded Halloween candy.

Nobody ever takes note of the Halloween themed candy. Did you notice that on the carton to the left, the white ball at the top is an eyeball?
